Autumn Patches OP 19, 20 from Virtual Quilter

The colours used in this series reflects the colours of autumn in central Australia. So far summer has been hot and humid, but after a few days of hot, we are having a couple of days of autumn, no rain over most of the country, but cool breezes and partly cloudy.

My favourite today is the first one, though the second one is rather interesting.

Autumn Patches OP 15, 16 from Virtual Quilter

In my part of the world our autumn weather is variable this year, from cool summer to cold winter … but it is very dry, which means it is very dusty, so the colours in this project file are appropriate.

I love the first design, but if I wanted to make it in real life I would much prefer spring colours.

I like the second design too.

Autumn Patches OP 13, 14 from Virtual Quilter

Colours of Australia … red and sandy soil, with some green starting to grow. Even trees in areas burnt out in the last two months are showing touches of green.

Interesting design.
